I finally have some glitters in my life and omg I’m so excited to start doing make up looks with them
insert squeals of excitement. It’s probably not a secret that I’m a fan of golden or bronze eye make up looks so I definitely wanted to try the orange/golden glitters I got first; hence this orange/bronze glittery look.
See my last make up look here.
Eyes: I always do my eyebrows first using Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade in Medium Brown, then Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Chantilly to clean up. I primed my eyes with Urban Decay primer potion in Eden with Nars Light Reflecting Loose Setting Powder on top.
Now the highlight of the look
not literally I took ‘Penny 4 ur thoughts’ glitter from Star Crushed Minerals (review coming soon) onto my lid, putting a bit of eye primer onto the lid to apply the glitter and spraying my brush with Mac Fix+ to pick up the glittter. I took a little bit of ’24 Carrot’ glitter on as well. I cleaned up the eye shadow creating the sharp angle. (4)
I used Rimmel Scandalyes Gel Liner to shape out my eyeliner wing and filled it in with Rimmel Exaggerate Eye Liner. I applied a little bit of Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara before applying Peek-A-Boo Trouble Maker lashes. I applied a bit of ‘Rosewood’ again and the glitter that was left on the brush on my lower lash line to tie it all together.
Face: I used Nivea Men Post Save Balm for primer then for foundation I used Estee Lauder Double Wear in 1N2 Encru (see my review here). I concealed under my eyes and down the centre of my face using Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer. I set everywhere using Nars Light Reflecting Loose Setting Powder, before bronzing with Benefit Hoola Bronzer and contouring using the darker shade out of the Makeup Revolution Sculpt and Contour Kit C04. I highlighted with The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer then sprayed Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray all over to set.
