I love a good smokey eye and this one definitely ticks that box; I added a lot of black to really smoke it out and silver to keep it cool toned. Definitely more of a night out look for me and looks amazing with lashes.
See my lash make up look here.
Eyes: As usual I did my eyebrows first using Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade in Medium Brown, then Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Chantilly to clean up. I primed my eyes with Urban Decay primer potion in Eden with Nars Light Reflecting Loose Setting Powder on top.
I then took ‘Rust’ (orange shade) from Makeup Revolution Flawless Palette Matte just above my crease to add a transition shade and to add a bit of warmth before adding cool tones.
I mixed ‘Matt Wood'(grey shade) and ‘Matt Abdul'(grey shade) from the Balm Meet Matte Nude Palette into my crease and working it into the outer corner. I added a bit at a time to slowly build depth.
Taking ‘Serious’ (black shade) from The Balm Nude’tude Palette into my outer corner, slowly adding to build the smokey-ness and make a gradient of colour.
I mixed ‘Silver Smoke’ and ‘Buff’ (silver shades) from Makeup Revolution Flawless Palette and took these on my lid, blending them into the black.
Face: I used Nivea Men Post Save Balm for primer then for foundation I used Estee Lauder Double Wear in 1N2 Encru (see my review here). I concealed under my eyes and down the centre of my face using Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer and Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Chantilly. I set everywhere using Nars Light Reflecting Loose Setting Powder, I bronzed using Makeup Revolution Baked Bronzer in Fame and Benefit Hoola Bronzer, then contoured using the darker shade out of the Makeup Revolution Sculpt and Contour Kit C04, I highlighted with The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer then sprayed Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray all over.
