Recently a lot has changed in my life; things haven’t gone to plan and I’ve been left a bit lost, hence the lack of blog posts. Last month I finished my first year of University in Manchester and moved back home for good, therefore I now have a lot of free time so decided to try and get back into blogging. Moving on from the negativity there, it’s now June (my birthday month woo!), so I decided my post would be a simple and easy favourites to start me off and we’ll see where we go from here.
Have you had any favourites this month? Have you tried any of these products?
thanks, gem x
My definite fashion favourite at the moment is this green bomber from H&M. The khaki colour attracted me to this jacket and it easily fits into my wardrobe as it goes with basically everything. Another favourite is my Adidas superstars, I’ve worn them none stop, they are so comfy and make any outfit much cooler, I’d recommend anyone to get them.
For beauty I recently got the Pro Conceal concealer from L.A. Girl in the colour toast, to contour with. This makes contouring so much easier and blends in so well with your foundation, giving a nice colour and glow to your face. As its gotten warmer I have been really loving a more dewy foundation over matte. Therefore the Bourjois healthy mix foundation has been great, with medium coverage and a really healthy glow, I’d really recommend. These are both affordable but great products.
As well as the weather changing my make up I’ve been upping my body skin care for the warmer weather. This body shop exfoliator works wonderfully to keep your skin soft and remove dry skin, perfect for before shaving. This Avon aloe vera body lotion also makes you so soft and smooth, my skin really drinks it up.
As for random favourites I’ve been enjoying a new protein powder from MyProtein; this one is soy based therefore dairy free and the vanilla flavour tastes really nice. I also started watching keeping up with the kardashians from the start this month and have been loving it, it’s definitely a guilty pleasure of mine and entertaining to see how much they’ve all changed.
For favourite people this month I found Hannah Renée on YouTube and have been hooked! She’s so stunning and amaaaaaazing at make up, her videos are so easy to watch and informative (warning you’ll end up wanting every product she uses), it feels like you’re just watching one of your friends; everyone should definitely subscribe to her!
So those are my main favourites recently, let me know if you try any of them!
